What Sets Dr. Jon’s Apart: A Spotlight on Our Safe Ingredients
At Dr. Jon’s, we guarantee all of our products are 100% cruelty-free and vegan. As a member of the Handcrafted Soap and Cosmetic Guild, we are proud to create safe, nature-approved skincare products for both men and women.
Our plant-based formula combines shea butter, mango butter, meadowfoam oil, castor oil, avocado oil and golden jojoba oil to leave the skin feeling smooth and moisturized after your shave. We use this formula as a base to create several shaving products, then add in various other ingredients to create different scents for different tastes.
Dr. Jon’s "Savannah Sunrise" Shaving Soap Review
Just when I think I know what to expect from Dr. Jon’s, this outstanding soap company goes ahead and throws me another curveball. I feel like a batter, sitting on a full count, with no idea what pitch is coming next. With Anne Bonny, I knew that soap was Dr. Jon’s take on a bay rum. WithClassic, I knew what to expect from a “barbershop style” fragrance. With the Big Green Monster, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I knew it was going to be bold. But with Savannah Sunrise, my assumptions were completely wrong.

When it comes to shopping for clothing, most guys dread it. Most don’t even dread, they loathe clothes shopping. They go in, find what they think fits, and leave without even trying the clothes on.
So, we've all heard them before: the more blades the better, pressing harder means a closer shave, hair grows back thicker after shaving, dry shaving is OK in a rush; the list goes on and on. We decided to take a closer look at a few of these myths that vex the shavers of the world.
We have reached a point where working part time on Dr. Jon's is no longer feasible. We have been slow getting orders out, haven't been able to work on new products and have not had time to interact with customers as much as we would like. That all changes today! Starting at 5pm today Kim will be running Dr. Jon's full time!
With the great razor blade experiment completed, it’s finally time to get back into the world of wet shaving product reviews. What I find fascinating about the world of shaving soap manufacturing is that, really, the process is no secret.
